We are back!! And we are talking about Cattle Auctions, or one particular Texas Longhorn Cattle Auction.
The questions remain. Where have we been, and are we back to stay? Or, is this just hype for April Fool’s Day?
Let’s take a step back for a sec.
8 years ago today, we published our first blog article. Not to lie, it certainly has been a challenging adventure.
Since then, we learned a lot about blogging, marketing, and even details of the Texas Longhorn Industry that we would never have known. The GVR Texas Longhorn Blog has been wonderful for us. The GVR Longhorns Cowmoonity has grown, and we remain forever grateful to you.
Our journey continues, but our path is taking a few different turns.
Focusing on the immediate future, though, we do have an exciting announcement. For the very first time, we will be taking part in a well-known Texas Longhorn cattle sale auction. We have attended many auctions in the past. In the next few weeks, we will participate in one. We have made arrangements for two of our most favored longhorn girls to be consigned. Stay posted for more details on our Texas Longhorn girls and on the Texas longhorn Cattle auction, and be sure to check out our article in the April 2026 edition of the TLBAA magazine.
We look forward to making new friends. We also extend this invitation to you to join us.
Details in our next post.
