Help us name a Longhorn Calf, one by one! PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

Longhorn Calf NAMING Contest Criteria
Anyone can suggest a Longhorn calf name ( even if you are not eligible to win a prize).
You do not have to participate every week to ultimately win the prize.
Every week until the end of May, we will post details of one or two of our longhorn calves that need a name.
This contest starts today and ends on May 31, 2025 at noon 12h00 Central Time.
Our decision is final.
This contest is not affiliated with Instagram/ Facebook or any other company other than GVRLonghorns LLC.
How it works?
Every week we will post a blog with information about a new baby longhorn calf or two that need a name.
We will include information about the calf’s personality, his/her parents and any other information that may help illustrate character.
Following, all you need to do is suggest a name for that Longhorn Calf. (Wait for the post though!!)
Send your suggestion to us as a comment on our post, on Instagram and Facebook, or via email.
Keep an eye out. We will post your chosen name(s) on Instagram, Facebook and/or our next Blog Post.
In addition, if we choose your suggestion, you will automatically be entered into our contest with a chance to win a prize as long as you fulfill our contest criteria as listed below.
Two or more participants may suggest the same calf name. In that case, there may be more than one eligible contest entry for the prize per week.
However, at the end of the contest only one winner gets the prize. We will pick out the winner by putting all eligible entries in a hat.
To win a prize…..
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- Have a mailing address in the USA.
- You must play at least one time during this contest.
- Your suggested name must be one that we chose.
- If two of your suggestions are chosen for a longhorn calf, then you will have two chances to win the prize.
- There is no limit to the amount of entries one person has. In other words, you can enter as many times as you want.

One a week Prize
Every week we will weigh up the names suggested.
If we choose the name you suggest, you will be eligible for a prize that week.
Weekly prizes will be offered to the value of $40 from our Pixel. com website HERE.
Any Photo can be chosen as long as it is a photo taken by Cathy Valle. Prizes include prints and a wide selection of merchandise up to the value of $40.00.

The Grand Prize
- ONE Item (by Cathy Valle) to the value of $100 from our website CATHY VALLE ART ,OR
- TWO GVR Longhorns Trucker Caps (in stock items only), OR
- A ONE HOUR guided tour for two guests at our ranch GVRlonghorns ( transport to our ranch is not included in this prize)
ONE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED AFTER 5/31/2025 for the GRAND PRIZE.
NOTES:-
- Two or more participants may suggest the same name in one week. In that case, all eligible participants with the winning name suggestion will have a chance to win the prize at the end of the contest.
- For the purposes of this contest, our choices are final. However, all longhorn calf names can be changed by new owners when purchased ( if registrations are with TLBAA are not yet finalized)
